THYIA

THYIA(Θυιά), a place in Phocis, where the Delphians erected an altar to the winds, derived its name from Thyia, a daughter of Cephissus or Castalius, and the mother of Delphus by Apollo. (Hdt. 7.178; Dict. of Biogr. art. THYIA)
