Grammeno
A hill in the Jannina plain W of the village of the same name, ca. 17-18 km from Dodona. The remains of a small temple (17.5 x 12.8 m), probably dating from the 4th c. B.C., have been excavated. The temple faces S and has a pronaos and a sekos. In the 2d-3d c. A.D. two houses were put up on its site, all the stones of the temples being used to build them. Articles of daily use were found in the remains of one of the houses (bronze fibulae, potsherds). The presence of ashes and animal bones suggests that there was a sacrificial altar here. The masonry of the temple is isodomic.
