HIERASUS, FL. (Ἱέρασος, Ptol. 3.8.4), a river of Dacia, which has been identified with the TIARANTUS(Τιαραντός, , Hdt. 4.48; Schafarik, Slav. Alt. vol. 1. p. 506). Perhaps the river now called Seret.
