Malia

MA´LIA (Μαλία: Eth. Μαλιεύς), a town in Hispania Tarraconensis, near Numantia, but of which nothing more is known. (Appian, App. Hisp. 77.)

A city of Phthiotis, near Thermopylae. In its vicinity were hot mineral springs, and from it the neighbouring gulf was called Maliacus Sinus.
