Harpis

HARPIS, FL. (Ἅρπις, Ptol. 3.10.14), a river of Sarmatia Europaea, probably the same as the Kugal'nik in Bessarabia. There was a people called the HARPII (Ἅρπιοι, Ptol. 3.10.13) in the district about this river.
