Ossarene

OSSARE´NE (Ὀσσαρηνή, Ptol. 5.13.9; Τωσαρηνή, Interp.), a canton of Armenia situated on the banks of the river Cyrus. St. Martin (Mém. sur l'Armenie, vol. 1. p. 81) is of opinion that it may be the same as the GOGARENE of Strabo.
