Parthenopaeus
(Παρθενοπαῖος). One of the Seven against Thebes (q.v.). He was the son of Ares (or Milanion) and Atalanta, or of Talaüs and Lysimaché. His son, variously styled Promachus, Stratolaüs, Thesimenes, or Tlesimenes, was one of the epigoni (q.v.).
