pseudo-urbana
Pseudo-urbāna
(sc. aedificia). The portions of a farm-house (villa) reserved for the owner and his family, separate from the tenements of the overseers and labourers (Vitruv. vi. 5, 3). In the case of a rich land-owner these portions would be as elegant as a house in town. See villa.
