Itonia
(Ἰτωνία), Itonias (Ἰτωνιάς), or Itōnis (Ἰτωνίς). A surname of Athené, derived from the town of Iton, in the south of Phthiotis in Thessaly. Here the goddess had a celebrated sanctuary, and hence is called by the Roman poets incola Itoni.
