Epōpeus

(Ἐπωπεύς). Son of Poseidon and Canacé, the daughter of Aeolus, brother of Aloeus. He migrated from Thessaly to Sicyon, where he became king. He was killed by Lycus for the sake of Antiopé, who, it was alleged, was by him mother of Zethus.
