Leuphana

LEUPHANA(Λευφάνα), a town mentioned by Ptolemy (Ptol. 2.11.27) in the north of Germany, on the west of the Elbe;it probably occupied the site of the modern Lüneburg. (Wilhelm, Germanien, p. 161.)
