PIENGI´TAE (Πιενγῖται, Ptol. 3.5.20), a people in European Sarmatia, supposed by Schafarik to be the inhabitants of the river Piena, which falls into the Pripjät near Pinsk (Slawische Alterthümer, vol. 1. p. 207.)
