σύνδικος, Einem vor Gericht beistehend, der Sachwalter, τινός ; Aesch. Eum. 731 ; ἐγὼ δʼ ἀρωγοὺς ξυνδίκους θʼ ἥξω λαβών, Suppl. 707 ; Plat. Legg. XI.929e ; öfter bei den Rednern, z.B. σύνδικος ὑπὲρ τοῦ ἐν Δήλῳ ἱεροῦ, Dem. 18.134, vgl. noch 20.146 ; – gemeinsam zukommend, zugehörig, Pind. κτέανον Ἀπόλλωνος καὶ μοισᾶν, P. 1.2 ; aber τύμβος, Ol. 9.98, ist = Zeugnis ablegend, für ihn sprechend. – In Athen hießen σύνδικοι die nach der Vertreibung der dreißig Tyrannen eingeführten Fiskale des Staates, welche über eingezogene Güter und Konfiskationen entschieden, Lys. 16.7, 18.26 ; vgl.
