Actorides
Acto'rides
or Acto'rion (Ἀκτορίδης or Ἀκτορίων), are patronymic forms of Actor, and are consequently given to descendants of an Actor, such as Patroclus (Ov. Met. xiii 373; Trist. 1.9. 29), Erithus (Ov. Met. 5.79; compare 8.308, 371), Eurytus, and Cteatus. (Hom. Il. 2.621, 13.185, 11.750, 23.638.) [L.S]
