Paullinus

or Pauli'nus, a lengthened form of Paullus or Paulus, like Albinus of Albus. [Albinus, p. 90.] This cognomen only occurs under the empire. For the sake of uniformity we adopt the form Paulinus, but respecting the orthography, see Paullus.
