Prion
Priōn, ŏnis, m. (Πρίων), montagne de lʼîle de Cos : Plin. 5, 134 || Prion, prince des Gètes, tué par Jason : Val. Max.
PRION
PRION(Πρίων), a mountain in the island of Cos, which is about 2760 feet high. (Plin. Nat. 5.36.) From a scholion ( ad Theocrit. 7.45) it might be inferred that Oromedon was another name for Mount Prion; but according to another ancient commentator Oromedon was either a surname of some divinity, or the name of some wealthy and powerful man.
[L.S]PRION
PRION(Πρίων), a river in Arabia. [PRIONOTUS.]
