   b) krummhornig, Rinder, Theocr. 25.151.
2) subst., alles Gekrümmte, Gebogene ; bes.
   a) ein gewundener u. verschlungener Federzug, Schnörkel, den man am Schluß eines Buches oder eines Abschnittes in demselben anbrachte, τὸ ἐπιτιθέμενον ἐν τῷ τέλει τῶν βιβλίων, EM. 530.40 ; dah. übh. Schluß, Ende ; so Philodem. 14 (XI.41), wo das Leben mit einem Buche verglichen ist, αὐτὴν ἀλλὰ τάχιστα κορωνίδα γράψατε, μοῦσαι ; auch ἄχρι κορωνίδος, bis zum Schluß, bis zu Ende, Plut. adv.
