    To look about one with wonder or admiration: στὰς θηεῖτο Od. 5.75, Od. 7.133.

    To look upon something with wonder, to wonder, marvel, be astonished: λαοὶ θηεῦντο Il. 23.728 = 881: θηεῖτο κούρη Od. 6.237. Cf. Od. 5.74, Od. 8.17, Od. 17.315, Od. 24.90.
