- able to receive, capacious, ample, λιμένες Hdt. 7.49; = ὑποδοχεύς, Phot.:—in E. Rh. 364 (lyr.), for ὑποδεξίαις ἁμίλλαις (codd.) ἐπιδεξίοις and ὑποδεξιᾶν are conjectured.
