ἀνθυφίστᾰμαι, Pass., with aor. 2 ἀνθυπέστην,
- undertake for another, ἀνθυποστῆναι (sc. χορηγός) undertake to serve as choregus in rivalry with another, D. 21.68:—later in Act., imply reciprocally, Dam. Pr. 72.
