ἀντευπάσχω
ἀντευπάσχω, receive a good deed in turn
ἀντευ-πάσχω, ἀντευποιέω. ἀντευπάσχω and ἀντευ-ποιέω are by recent edd. written divisim ἀντʼ εὖ π. (v. Pl. Grg. 520e, X. An. 5.5.21, D. 20.124), on the ground that εὖ never enters into direct composition with Verbs,
- v. εὖ fin.; but ἀντευποιεῖν is read in Arist. EN 1179a28, Rh. 1374a24.
ἀντ·ευπάσχω, ou mieux séparément ἀντ’ εὖ πάσχω (seul. fut. 3 sg. ἀντ’ εὖ πείσεται) recevoir un service ou un bienfait d’un obligé, Plat. Gorg. 520e.
Étym. v. *εὐπάσχω.
ἀντευπάσχω, Wohltaten dagegen empfangen ; Plat. Gorg. 520e ἀντʼ εὖ πείσεται zu schreiben, vgl. Stallbaum zum a.O.
