ὀβριμοπάτρη, ἡ, die einen starken Vater hat, des starken Vaters Tochter, so heißt Athene, Il. 5.747 u. öfter, wie Hes. oft ; Sol. fr. 15.3 ; Ar. Eq. 1174. – Das masc. ὀβριμόπατρος kommt nicht vor, u. ὀβριμοπάτηρ ist bei Hesych. falsch gebildet.
