συμφρονέω, to be of one mind with, to agree

συμφρονέω,
  • to be of one mind with any one, agree or conspire with, σ. ἀλλήλοις εἴς τι Plb. 4.60.4, cf. LXX 3 Ma. 3.2; ἐπί τινι Plb. 3.2.8; περί τινων πρὸς τοὺς φίλους Id. 4.81.3, cf. 7.16.3; σ. ταὐτά Id. 6.46.8: abs., agree together, Id. 2.22.1, etc.
      • 2 think with, be in harmony with, τῷ νοερῷ M.Ant. 8.54.
    • II become aware of, think of, notice, understand, ὃ δέον εἴη ποιεῖν Plb. 18.26.2, cf. D.H. 5.9, Plu. Nic. 19, 23, Them. 28, Brut. 10, Pyrrh. 11, Eum. 19, Cam. 29, 36, etc.
      • 2 collect oneself, become conscious, Id. Cat.Mi. 70, Alex. 73.
    • III bring together in thought, τὰ πλεῖστον ἀλλήλων ἀφεστῶτα τοῖς τόποις Arist. Mu. 391a14 (v.l. τῇ διανοίᾳ συνεφόρησε, which may be a gloss).
