• woman who gathered the bones from a funeral pile into an urn, Pl. Min. 315c (v.l. ἐγχυτίστρια), cf. EM 313.41.
• • II woman who exposed children, acc. to Sch. Ar. V. 289 (but cf. ἐγχύτριαι).

ἐγχυτρίστρια, ἡ, Plat. Minos 315d, das Weib, welches das Blut der Sühnopfer beim Begräbnis eines Ermordeten in einen Topf auffängt, oder, nach Böckh, welches die Gebeine der verbrannten Leiche in dem Topfe sammelt, vgl. Schol. – Nach Schol. Ar. Vesp. 289, ein Weib, das Kinder in einem Topfe aussetzt.
