• dance to or in honour of a thing, Ar. Pax 1317; come dancing on, X. Smp. 9.4; comically of dishes brought to table, ἄριστον ἐπεχόρευσεν Diph. 44.1; εἰς τὸ μέσον ἐ. σαπέρδης Id. 64.4.
