transaccidere [CL trans+accidere], (theol.) to change in respect of accidental attributes (w. ref. to elements of Eucharist), ‘transaccidentate’ (in quot., pr. ppl. as adj.). numquid credimus quod populus posset tantum seduci quod credat omnia bona adjacencia sacerdoti esse ~encia destructa tota substancia, et sic sacerdotes Baal viverent pro suo perpetuo sine cibo corporali?
