πολύφθοος, nach Plut. quaest., graec. 9 hieß so ein Tag in Delphi, an dem Orakel erteilt werden : οὐ διὰ τὸ πέττεσθαι φθόϊς, ἀλλὰ πολυπευθῆ καὶ πολυμάντευτον οὖσαν.
