ὑφημιόλιος, ον, of a number,
- standing to another number in the ratio of 1 to 1 1/2, i. e. 2/3, the reciprocal of ἡμιόλιος (3/2), Arist. Metaph. 1021a1, Nicom. Ar. 1.19.
ὑφ·ημιόλιος, ος, ον, qui contient un nombre entier plus la moitié de ce nombre, p. ex. 3 = 2 + 1, Nicom. Arithm. 1, 19.
ὑφημιόλιος, drückt das Verhältnis zweier Zahlen zu einander aus, von denen die eine 1½ mal kleiner als die andere ist, Ggstz von ἐφήμισυς od. ἡμιόλιος, Nic. arithm. 1.19 ; vgl. Arist. metaph. 4.15.
