   a) bei den Kriegern der Leibgürtel, der unter dem Panzer oberhalb der Hüften getragen wird, wie es Il. 4.135 vom Pfeil heißt διὰ μὲν ἂρ ζωστῆρος ἐλήλατο δαιδαλέοιο καὶ διὰ θώρηκος – ἠρήρειστο, μίτρης θʼ ἣν ἐφόρει ἔρυμα χροός, ἕρκος ἀκόντων – διὰ πρὸ δὲ εἴσατο καὶ τῆς ; er ist von Erz ; ζῶμά τε καὶ μίτρη, τὴν χαλκῆες κάμον, 4.187 ; vgl. noch ἐς κενεῶνα, ὅθι ζωννύσκετο μίτρην, 5.857.
