Zeal, alacrity.

In pl.: ᾗσι προθυμίῃσι πεποιθώς (his heart full of ardour for the fray) Il. 2.588.

προθυμίη (πρόθῡμος): zeal, courage, pl., Il. 2.588†. The ῑ is due to the necessities of the rhythm.
