  • get ready, δεῖπνον Ar. Ec. 1147 (Pass.); ἐ. ναῦν refit, Th. 1.29, etc.; ἐ. ἵππους saddle, equip them, X. HG 5.3.1 (s.v.l.):—Med., ἐπισκευάσασθαι ναῦς have them refitted, Th. 7.36; ἐ. ὑποζύγια have them packed, pack them, X. HG 7.2.18.
      • 2 τὰ χρήματα ἐφʼ ἁμαξῶν ἐπισκευάσαι pack them upon . ., Id. Cyr. 7.3.1.
