ἐμφύσημα, an inflation
- an inflation of the stomach, peritoncum, or cellular tissue, mostly of the stomach, Hp. Epid. 3.17.ιγʹ, Gal. 19.132; swelling of the eye, Dem.Ophth. ap. Aët. 7.14; of the knee, Gal. 12.203.
