ἀποκτείνῡμι or ἀπο-κτίννῡμι (the former is the more correct spelling, cf. best codd. in Pl. Grg. 469a, Plb. 2.56.15, etc., Hdn.Gr. 2.539), = sq., Crates Com. 17, Lys. 12.7, Pl. l.c., X. An. 6.3.5, D. 20.158, etc.: —also ἀπο-κτιννύω, X. HG 4.4.2, 5.2.43, etc.
